Marmié is a self-catering country farmhouse for rent, located in the Lot valley in southwest France. Secluded its own 7 acres of paddocks and woodland, it is an authentic Lotoise house, lovingly restored by its owners Bob and Carole Johnstone. The property sleeps 8 people, and has 2 double bedrooms with sinks, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom with wc, 1 shower room with wc, large kitchen/dining room, sitting room, minstrel gallery and a 9 x 5 meter swimming pool.

Marmié enjoys one of the most idyllic positions in the Lot, surrounded by small market towns, 10 minutes from the Dordogne yet only 25 minutes from the historic town of Cahors. North and south facing terraces, overlooking the property's beautiful grounds, are ideal for relaxing over a glass of the famous vin de Cahors, or for dining al fresco on the delicacies of Southwest France. Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, sun terrace with garden furniture, English library, TV/ video, telephone; linen available.

The owners reside on the property grounds. They completely respect the privacy of holidaymakers, but are on hand for advice and help if required.
